Deviation Actions
**IMPORTANT PLEASE READ**
I would like to remind all of our members and visitors about our submission rules.
Two main points that a lot of artists are overlooking are that we only accept deviations about: eco solutions, green energy, global warming, save the animals, pollution, drought, recycling and other subjects or projects closely related to saving the Earth.
Also, as we are an awareness raising club, we ask that you write a brief note in your original deviation that will help others better understand the message or the idea of your work, otherwise your art will not be accepted.
Here is a more comprehensive list of acceptable subjects of pieces you want to submit:
Renewable energy sources - photographs, designs, posters, "promotion" or showcase of a project near you.
Global Warming and Weather Events (drought, flooding, wildfires/landslides) - awareness posters, photographs, digital art. Anything that shows evidence of the effects of a changing climate or warmer than average temperatures is deemed relevant. How somewhere may look during a record-breaking heatwave in 50 years time, etc.
Causes and Campaigns - Endangered species. Support for: hunting bans, electric cars, low-carbon living, afforestation (opposite of deforestation), coral reef conservation, etc.
Photos of flowers, plants, sunsets and sunrises are all very nice, but they are not related to any of the above subjects. They would be more suited in the galleries of our affiliates.
My own group has similar guidelines to these but accepts a wider range of photography, if your art doesn't seem suitable for this group, it may be suitable for:
Thanks for reading!
Feedback is appreciated.

CLOSED
First things first.
:earth: Thank you for all the lovely people, who have been part of this group.
:earth: Also big thanks for affiliates as well.
The time has come to close one chapter. Will there be new one waiting, I don't know.
As many of you noticed ProjectEarth (https://www.deviantart.com/projectearth) has been quiet. There has been no new journal entries, no tips, no competitions or anything really, except accepting art works every now and then. That is the reason, why I'm writing this short blog entry. One person with lot of things to do in her life is not exactly ideal person to try to make group active again so the only solution is to quit at least for now.

Gulf of Mexico - sticky oily situation
Many of you have heard of the damages that oil is doing on Gulf of Mexico. We got a note from charfade (https://www.deviantart.com/charfade) and we definitely should have forwarded this message earlier but here it is:
